The late Yasmin Ahmad is one of the great storytellers I look up to.
Her story-telling style was straight forward, simple and yet the message she wants to communicate was like an arrow to the bulls-eye.
Her uncanny ability to observe the ordinary and her eye to capture details made her work stand out.
And she was not afraid to dap on topics which were socially sensitive and yet all so important.
Through her eyes, we are able to realize that the world and the people around us are all so ordinarily simple yet beautiful.
And we just have to look, in order to see.
